This website is dedicated to the sale, purchase and valuation of bottles of Chartreuse distilled in Tarragona, considered objects of collection. The products offered are not intended for consumption, but collecting.
Nature of the product
The client declares to know that the old bottles presented special features:
• Risk of natural evaporation (“part of the angel”).
• Risk of loss or microfugas by plugs dry or damaged.

Preparation and packing

Risks associated with the transport
The buyer understands and agrees that the old bottles can suffer:
• Loss of liquid during transport.

Transport insurance

Returns policy
Due to the nature of the product (bottles are old, out-of-print and unique), we do not accept returns for:

• Loss of liquid or microfugas.
• Changes in level with respect to the photos prior to shipment.
• Variations in color, odor or sediment.
• Labels partially damaged or worn.
Only accept refund in two cases:
1. Bottle other than the announced.
2. Structural damage of the glass (broken glass) during transport.
For claims due to breakage of the glass, the client must send photos of the package without handle in less than 24 hours from the delivery, by writing to info@chartreusetarragona.com or by calling +34 699 85 50 77.
Specific clauses on old bottles and possible loss of liquid
When you buy a bottle of old, the customer expressly acknowledges that:
• The cork can contract or expand depending on the temperature/humidity.
• Leakage may occur without rupture of the glass.

• Vibrations of the transport.
• Sudden changes in temperature.
• Position prolonged vertical or horizontal.
• Violent movements of the package.
• In bottles for more than 10 years, the cap may disintegrate partially or fall inwards.
This is part of the historic character of the product.
Natural evaporation
The buyer agrees that with the passage of time may occur to the natural evaporation, especially in old bottles with corks weakened.
There is No refund due to leakage or evaporation.
Shall not be considered reason for refund or return:
• Partial loss of contents.
• Corks damaged, sagging or damaged.

Applicable legislation and jurisdiction
